If you really want to ruin someone’s day in a fun way, you can get inside their cubicle before they get to work and glue everything to their desk – their stapler, pencil cup, keyboard, picture frames – everything. Go into their computer’s control panel and change the mouse settings to the slowest possible setting. When your coworker gets back, they will wonder why the cursor drags along the screen so slowly when it was moving very fast just minutes before. You can even make it so the cursor’s shadow follows its movement so it will make it look like something is very wrong with their computer.

Covering everything in aluminum foil is another option to annoy your coworker. This will take a lot of aluminum foil so you should stock up and slowly bring the foil to your work area over several days so you can slip it in unnoticed. When your coworker isn’t at their desk for a long period of time, slip in and cover everything in aluminum foil. You can even wrap their pens and pencils in foil if you have time.

These cubicle practical jokes are fun to do but make sure your coworker and your boss have a sense of humor before you try to pull them off. Otherwise, you could be making a career-ending mistake and you won’t be having any fun at all then.
